When COVID-19 quickly and drastically changed how restaurants are able to serve their customers, many small, locally-owned businesses were not prepared to take and deliver orders. The restaurants along Morrison Road and South Federal were hit especially hard, being unprepared to shift to an online model.
Third Principle partnered with Little Saigon Denver and BuCu West to provide local restaurants with an online presence. LittleSaigonDenver.com and Westwoodfood.com were created and launched in Spring 2020 supported by an online promotional campaign and local direct mail.
Denver’s Hub for the Real Deal
South Federal and Morrison Road feature Denver’s most authentic Vietnamese and Hispanic food. Both corridors have an abundance of locally-owned restaurants serving delicious, unique menus. All the restaurants are featured at littlesaigondenver.com and westwoodfood.com.
It’s All Here – on Morrison Road
Restaurants along Morrison had some of the best latin food in the area, and the website showcases it with beautiful photography and quick-access contact information so orders can be placed immediatly from any device.
Meet the Owner
Part of the strength of these corridors is its cultural identity and solidarity. Some of the restaurant owners share their stories behind their counters and enhance the site experience as well.
Collateral Value
Direct mail was deployed to introduct the new sites, with QR codes for online ordering and text in multiple languages. Window clings identitfy shops to passersby.
